Welcome to AIDA
AIDA is a European organisation for inter-cultural artistic activities. Its aim is to use artistic and cultural expressions, and in particular inter-disciplinary forms, to promote intercultural communication. It works to improve understanding and create a stronger and deeper dialogue between population groups in Europe, especially between “immigrant” and “native European” population groups. AIDA is an NGO, organised as a non-profit international association with its seat in Brussels and works in all European countries. AIDA initiates and performs projects and participates in cultural and societal activities. It is strictly non-commercial and independent of any national, economic or political interests. Projects focus on topics promoting tolerance and equal rights, and against prejudice and derogatory opinions of any kind against fellow humans. The association is working actively to stimulate all population groups to take part in cultural life and civil society in an open way.
